THE CITY
San Sebastián is a vibrant city where you can appreciate much of the history that has shaped it and in which Basque culture, together with its gastronomy, have made it a must see.
GASTRONOMY
Among many other reasons, gastronomy has made Donostia the target and envy of millions of people. We are visited by professionals who want to see what inspires Donostiarras (and non-Donostiarras) chefs and tourists who want to experience any of the infinite routes of pintxos will not find anywhere else.

The San Sebastian Gilda
There is nothing simpler and tastier and more Donostian than the gilda. Born here, it has, like the vedette, an acid and spicy touch, and is the perfect pintxo to start any snack, or simply to accompany a good wine. You will find it all over the city, so just look for a place to eat.

Zabaleta´s Potato Omelette
You can eat a potato omelette anywhere in the city, but you can also eat the Zabaleta Bar’s potato omelette and eat one that has infinite prizes and is no longer a pintxo, but a plan in itself. Do you want to take it with you? Well, you can order it and take it wherever you want, and since you are just a step away, we suggest you go to the beach.

Go eat pintxos
It is possibly the #1 plan to do in Donostia. It is almost obligatory. We will suggest you to find 5 bars to visit and create your own pintxo route. The plan is simple, a bar, a pintxo, a drink and… Repeat. If you want suggestions on where to go, ask us, we have plenty of ideas.

Cider house menu
For the brave and with a good appetite, the cider house menu is a classic Basque one made up of cod omelette, cod in sauce, txuleta as a main course and a dessert of cheese, quince and nuts. Ah! and cider, all the cider you can or want to drink. Nothing says Euskadi like eating with friends.

The best pairing
We’re not going to lie, we like to eat, but we also like to drink. You will be able to try wines of any color with which you will always be right and they will combine well, but if you want to drink something that you will only find in the Basque Country, that is txakoli. Our white wine with a little bit of bubble is going to make itself some room in your suitcase.

DISCOVER
Among many other reasons, gastronomy has made Donostia the target and envy of millions of people. We are visited by professionals who want to see what inspires Donostian cooks (and not Donostians) and tourists who want to experience any of the infinite pintxos routes they will not find anywhere else.

THE URGULL MOUNT
Full of history and with an unbeatable view of the bay of La Concha, Urgull is the perfect plan to whet your appetite with a pleasant walk that ends at the top of the Parte Vieja and in which you will find a small museum that tells our culture with care and affection.

THE IGELDO MOUNT
It is the classic photo of Donostia, but much better than the snapshot. Our recommendation will always be the same. Take a walk through La Concha, get on the 100+ year old funicular and visit the park of Monte Igeldo. Take a walk, enjoy its attractions and make sure you get to the terrace of the tower to keep this view in your memory.

THE TRENDY NEIGHBORHOOD
Gros is a modern, lively neighborhood with an infinite variety of gastronomy and activities. If you ask us, walking is one thing, eating or shopping is another. Take advantage of the beach volleyball, or of course, surfing, our favorite activity.

What to see
The advantage of having history is the opportunity to preserve it. In Donostia you can visit San Telmo, the Naval Museum, the Aquarium… But don’t forget to go out a bit more and go to Txillida Leku or even to the Oma Forest, to see art that you had never imagined.

much more than donostia
Let’s be honest, Donostia is a unique place, but it is surrounded by breathtaking cities like Hondarribia, Zarautz or Zumaia. Make sure you make time to visit them. We can proudly say that of all the things in the world, we have a lot to see.
